Our range covers three very different worlds: the vintage mini-bike DAX 125cc, and two electric models with a scrambler/cross style, the Street Crosser and the Beach Mad Bike. All ship with the certificate of conformity required for registration.

Which road legal motorcycle to choose?

  • DAX 125cc SkyTeam: mini-bike with an iconic vintage design, 125cc petrol engine, A1 or B licence (depending on issue date).
  • Velocifero Street Crosser 3000W: electric, scrambler/cross styling, quiet, no engine maintenance.
  • Velocifero Beach Mad Bike 3000W: electric, beach cruiser styling, comfortable for city and daily commuting.

Important: these are not road legal motocross or dirt bikes

If you're looking for a genuinely road legal motocross or dirt bike with large wheels and high ground clearance for mixed road/off-road use, our current range doesn't offer this type of vehicle. The Street Crosser adopts a scrambler style close to the cross aesthetic, but remains a classic road bike in its geometry. For exclusively off-road use, browse our adult motocross category (not road legal).

Licence required for a road legal motorcycle

For the DAX 125cc, an A1 licence is required (or category B with equivalence depending on issue date). For the electric Velocifero models (125cc equivalent), the same licence rules generally apply. Always check current regulations before purchasing.

How to register your road legal motorcycle

Registration is completed at your local registration authority using the European certificate of conformity supplied with the vehicle. Third-party liability insurance is also mandatory before any use on public roads.

Electric road legal motorcycle: what are the benefits?

The Velocifero models offer very low running costs (no fuel, minimal maintenance) and are ideal for daily city commuting. Their range and standard domestic outlet charging make them a practical alternative to a scooter or petrol mini-bike in town.

Maintaining a road legal motorcycle

For the petrol DAX 125cc: regular oil changes, air filter checks, chain and brake inspection. For the electric models: charging after every use, tyre pressure checks, brake inspection. Parts are available in our parts section.
