adult 250cc dirt bike Tornado BRX V3 21 18 overview

V3 design and reinforced frame : the 250cc dirt bike that commands respect on track

The Tornado BRX V3 stands out immediately. Its reinforced steel tube frame and aluminium swingarm deliver optimal rigidity to absorb jumps and tight corners without distorting geometry. The 21" (front) and 18" (rear) wheels with reinforced aluminium spoked rims give it competition-machine aesthetics. Seat height 84 cm and dry weight 110 kg provide the perfect balance between high-speed stability and technical section agility. Max payload: 90 kg. Protect every ride with an approved helmet.

250cc 4-stroke engine 12 kW : calibrated power for your adult dirt bike

The heart of the Tornado BRX V3 beats to the rhythm of a 250cc 4-stroke single cylinder, delivering 12 kW at 7,000 rpm through a 5-speed manual gearbox. This air-cooled block delivers torque available from low revs — ideal for corner exit re-acceleration and varied terrain sections. The 12V electric starter (maintenance-free gel battery YTX5A-BS) is backed up by an emergency kick-starter. Estimated consumption ~2.5 L/h (tank ~6.5 L). XtremRS tip: first oil change at 5h of use with 10W-40 semi-synthetic oil.

USD fork and hydraulic disc brakes : competition-level safety for this 250cc dirt bike

The Tornado BRX V3 features a hydraulic USD (Upside-Down) fork at the front, paired with a rear hydraulic shock with adjustable oil pressure. This duo absorbs the most violent jump impacts and holds the line precisely in technical sections. Braking is handled by hydraulic calipers on ventilated discs Ø230 mm front / Ø190 mm rear, delivering progressive and precise stopping power even on wet ground. An emergency kill switch on the handlebars completes the active safety system. 2-year manufacturer warranty included.

428 chain drive : constant reliability and performance for your 250cc dirt bike

The Tornado BRX V3's drivetrain relies on a high-strength 428 chain (15/48T ratio), engineered to withstand hard acceleration stress and muddy terrain. The adjustable chain tensioning system eliminates any risk of derailment under extreme conditions. The stainless steel exhaust, optimised for gas flow, unleashes the full power of the 250cc engine while guaranteeing durability and resistance to high temperatures. Maintenance recommendation: lubricate the chain after every ride and check tension every 500 km. 2-year warranty included.

1. What are the main specifications of the Tornado BRX V3?
250cc 4-stroke single-cylinder engine, 12 kW / 7,000 rpm, 5-speed manual gearbox. 12V electric start + emergency kick-starter. Hydraulic USD fork (front) + rear hydraulic shock with adjustable oil pressure. Hydraulic disc brakes Ø230 mm (front) / Ø190 mm (rear). Reinforced steel tube frame, aluminium swingarm, aluminium triple clamp. Wheels 21" (front) / 18" (rear). 428 HR chain, 15/48T ratio. Weight: 110 kg. Max load: 90 kg. Seat height: 84 cm. Tank ~6.5 L. V3 design with new graphics.
2. Is this dirt bike road-legal?
No. The Tornado BRX V3 is exclusively designed for off-road use (track, private land, competition). It has no lights, indicators or licence plate. Road approval is not possible for this model. Check local regulations before use.
3. What maintenance does this 250cc 4-stroke dirt bike require?
After each ride: clean (gentle water jet, no high pressure on electronics), check oil level, lubricate chain and check tension, check tyre pressure. Every 5–10h: engine oil change (10W-40 semi-synthetic). Every 2–3 dusty rides: clean air filter. Every 500 km: check chain tension, bleed brakes (DOT 4). Regularly: inspect brake pads and discs for wear.
4. What is the warranty on the Tornado BRX V3?
The Tornado BRX V3 carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering manufacturing defects (engine, frame, suspension, electrical system). Excluded are: wear parts (oil, filter, chain, tyres, brake pads), protective equipment, and damage from misuse or unauthorised modifications. The warranty applies subject to regular maintenance as per the included manual.
5. Is this dirt bike suitable for beginners?
The Tornado BRX V3 delivers 12 kW (250cc 4T) with direct throttle response — it is better suited to intermediate or experienced riders. For a beginner wanting to start motocross, we recommend starting on a 125cc and completing a circuit initiation course. The suspension settings (adjustable rear shock) do allow adaptation to different riding styles.
6. Can this dirt bike be modified (exhaust, suspension, tyres)?
Yes. The Tornado BRX V3 is compatible with many aftermarket parts: approved competition exhaust (FMF etc.), suspension springs tailored to rider weight, specialised tyres for soft or hard terrain. Note: certain modifications may void the manufacturer warranty. Consult our team before making any changes.
7. What is the difference between the V3 and previous versions?
The V3 brings: modernised graphics and design, more resistant steel frame, aluminium triple clamp (better steering precision), optimised rear shock (improved oil pressure management under load) and marginally improved brakes (better heat dissipation). All improvements target greater durability and riding precision in demanding conditions.
8. What protective gear is essential?
Full-face helmet (ECE 22.06 or above), reinforced gloves (knuckle protection), motocross jacket and trousers with integrated protection (elbows, shoulders, knees, hips), high reinforced cross boots, back protector. Discover our selection of approved helmets.
